Consultant Neurosurgeon (CCT) – German/American – Path to HOD

About the role

A leading tertiary hospital in the UAE seeks an experienced Consultant Neurosurgeon to manage complex cranial, spinal and neurovascular cases. The role involves delivering advanced surgical care in both elective and emergency settings within a state‑of‑the‑art facility.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of complex neurosurgical conditions.
• Perform advanced cranial, spinal and neurovascular procedures.
• Provide pre‑operative, intra‑operative and post‑operative patient management, including ICU care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and on‑call emergency services.

Required profile

• Medical degree with recognised postgraduate qualification in Neurosurgery (CCT/CCST, American Board, Canadian Board, Irish Board or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 + years post‑specialisation experience, preferably in a tertiary/quaternary hospital.
• Eligibility for DHA/DoH/MOHAP Consultant licensing.
• Strong communication and clinical skills.
