Consultant Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

About the role

A well‑established group of hospitals and clinics in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynecology to join a multidisciplinary team. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care through comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert obstetric and gynecological consultations, diagnoses, and treatments.
• Perform and support a range of gynecological procedures within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with medical, nursing and allied health professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
• Apply evidence‑based medicine and modern treatment approaches.
• Educate and counsel patients on treatment plans and health options.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality initiatives and continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Board certification or equivalent Western qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Valid Department of Health (DoH) license or eligibility as a specialist/consultant.
• Proven experience in a JCIA‑accredited hospital in Abu Dhabi.
• Strong clinical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
