Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon – Hand and Shoulder Arthroscopy

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position in Dubai is for a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in hand and shoulder arthroscopy. The role involves performing advanced diagnostic, surgical and post‑operative care for the hand, wrist, shoulder and upper extremity.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations, interpret imaging and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Perform operative and non‑operative arthroscopic procedures on the hand, wrist, shoulder and upper limb.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with local healthcare regulations.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives, clinical governance and teaching/mentoring of junior staff.

Required profile

• Recognized medical degree with specialist training and board certification in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Valid UAE medical licensing eligibility (DHA, DOH/HAAD, MOH) or ability to obtain it.
• Consultant‑level experience in hand and shoulder arthroscopy within a reputable facility.
• Strong clinical decision‑making, communication and teamwork skills, and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
