Consultant Paediatric Rehabilitation Physician – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified Consultant Paediatric Rehabilitation Physician to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The role involves delivering comprehensive rehabilitation services to infants, children, and adolescents with a range of neurological, developmental, musculoskeletal, and functional conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical, neurological, developmental, and functional assessments of pediatric patients.
• Diagnose and manage children with conditions such as cerebral palsy, developmental delay, neuromuscular disorders, spina bifida, and traumatic brain injury.
• Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans, coordinating physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and other services.
• Prescribe and oversee the use of orthotics, prosthetics, mobility aids, and assistive technologies.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document clinical outcomes.
• Provide education and support to families regarding rehabilitation goals and home programs.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, neurologists, orthopedic specialists, therapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies.

Required profile

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Specialist qualification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Paediatric Rehabilitation, Pediatrics, Neurology, or Orthopedics.
• Fellowship or additional training in Paediatric Rehabilitation (highly preferred).
• Valid or eligible DHA/DOH/MOHAP license.
• Minimum 5 years of post‑specialization/consultant‑level experience in pediatric rehabilitation.
• Proven experience working in a multidisciplinary pediatric rehabilitation setting.
