Consultant Pain Medicine – UAE

About the role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its multidisciplinary pain management services. The organisation seeks a highly skilled Consultant Pain Medicine to join a modern, quality‑driven clinical team serving a diverse international patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and manage acute, chronic, cancer‑related, neuropathic and musculoskeletal pain.
• Perform image‑guided pain procedures such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, radiofrequency ablation and joint interventions.
• Develop multimodal pain plans that include medication optimisation, rehabilitation, psychology and lifestyle support.
• Coordinate care with orthopaedics, neurology, oncology, rheumatology and rehabilitation teams.
• Educate patients on long‑term pain control, functional restoration and safe analgesic use.
• Maintain high standards for consent, documentation, procedural safety and outcome tracking.

Required profile

• Internationally recognised specialist qualification (e.g., American Board with Pain Medicine fellowship, UK CCT, FRCA/FFPMRCA, European Diploma, Royal College Canada, Australian Fellowship, Arab Board or equivalent).
• Experience in a multidisciplinary clinical environment is preferred.
