About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Consultant Physician specialized in Geriatric Psychiatry to deliver high‑quality primary care to patients with injuries, illnesses, and mental health needs. The role involves comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing patient support within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Examine patients, take detailed medical histories, and address their concerns.
• Diagnose and treat injuries, illnesses, and psychiatric disorders.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, communicating results clearly.
• Counsel patients on diet, hygiene, preventive health, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records.
• Develop and prescribe appropriate treatment plans and medications.
• Explain medical procedures and treatment options to patients and families.
• Collaborate with other physicians, refer to specialists when needed, and work closely with nursing and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with medical regulations and patient confidentiality standards.

Required profile

• Medical degree with completed residency and internship.
• Valid state license and certification to practice medicine.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating a broad range of conditions.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, patient‑focused, and compassionate.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with medical advancements.
