Consultant Physician – Urology & Andrology

About the role

The Specialist Physician supports the Consultant Physician in delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based, patient‑centred urology and andrology care. The role involves clinical excellence, supervision of junior staff, and participation in out‑of‑hours on‑call duties.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat urology and andrology patients according to best‑practice standards under the supervision of the Consultant Physician.
• Lead ward rounds, reassess in‑patients and out‑patients, and ensure accurate clinical documentation.
• Supervise junior medical staff, jointly assuming responsibility for their patient care.
• Participate in multi‑disciplinary meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical research activities.
• Provide out‑of‑hours on‑call coverage on a rotational basis, including evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays.

Required profile

• Board certification in Urology and/or Andrology.
• Post‑board experience as defined by Tier 1‑3 (no additional experience required for UAE nationals; otherwise up to 3 years clinical experience in an internationally accredited institute).
• Commitment to clinical excellence, supervision of junior staff, and participation in research and education.
