Consultant / Specialist Psychiatrist – Tax-Free Leadership Role in Dubai

About the role

We are partnering with a JCI‑accredited healthcare group in Dubai to recruit a Consultant/Specialist Psychiatrist. The role offers a tax‑free, leadership‑focused environment where you will deliver patient‑centered psychiatric care and help shape the future of mental health services across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental status examinations, risk evaluations, and diagnostic work‑ups.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of conditions such as mood, anxiety, psychotic, personality, and substance‑use disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that combine pharmacological and psychotherapeutic approaches.
• Provide crisis intervention and acute psychiatric care when needed.
• Collaborate with psychologists, counselors, social workers, and other clinicians to ensure integrated patient care.
• Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation in line with DHA and international standards.
• Participate in clinical governance, audits, and continuous professional development activities.
• Contribute to service development, mental‑health awareness initiatives, and community outreach.

Required profile

• Board recognition from one or more of the following: ABPN, UK CCT/GMC, European Board, Canadian/Australian Fellowship, Arab Board/FCPS/MD/DNB/DM.
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑board clinical experience.
• Eligibility for a DHA licence or an active licence is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
