Consultant/Specialist Psychiatrist – Tax‑Free Role in Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a distinguished Consultant/Specialist Psychiatrist to join a rapidly growing mental health division of a JCI‑accredited healthcare group in Dubai. The position offers a tax‑free salary, modern facilities and the chance to shape mental health services across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental status examinations, risk evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of conditions such as mood, anxiety, psychotic, personality and substance‑use disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that combine pharmacological and psychotherapeutic approaches.
• Provide crisis intervention and acute psychiatric care when required.
• Collaborate with psychologists, counselors, social workers and other professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with DHA and international standards.
• Participate in clinical governance, audits and continuous professional development activities.
• Contribute to service development, mental‑health awareness initiatives and community outreach programmes.

Required profile

• Board certification (ABPN, UK CCT/GMC, European Board, Canadian/Australian Fellowship, Arab Board, FCPS, MD/DNB) with 3‑5+ years post‑board experience.
• Eligibility for or possession of a DHA licence.
• Strong academic background and commitment to evidence‑based practice.
