Cost Controller

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Cost Controller to join our luxury hotel team in Ras Al Khaimah. You will be responsible for monitoring, analysing and controlling costs across all operational areas to ensure financial targets are met while maintaining guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control costs in food & beverage, housekeeping, maintenance and other departments.
• Assist in preparing departmental budgets and forecasts, and analyse variances.
• Prepare detailed cost reports, profit & loss statements and present findings to senior management.
• Oversee inventory control, conduct regular physical counts and ensure accurate recording.
• Establish and maintain standard costs for materials, supplies and services.
• Support supplier negotiations to achieve cost‑effective procurement.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and recommend efficiency initiatives without compromising quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cost control, accounting or finance, preferably within hospitality.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyse complex financial data.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
