Debt Capital Markets Associate – Emerging Markets (Dubai)

About the role

An international investment bank is seeking a Debt Capital Markets Associate to join its Emerging Markets DCM team in Dubai. The role will support the origination and execution of debt capital markets transactions across MENA and broader emerging markets, working closely with senior bankers and various product partners.

Key responsibilities

• Support the origination, structuring and execution of DCM transactions across emerging markets.
• Assist senior bankers with client pitches, financing proposals and transaction presentations.
• Prepare detailed market updates, credit analysis, investor analysis and DCM materials.
• Analyse issuer financials, capital structures, debt maturity profiles, leverage and funding requirements.
• Support senior team members in developing and maintaining relationships with issuers and investors.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of investment banking experience, ideally within DCM, Global Capital Markets or a broader Investment Banking team.
• Strong understanding of debt capital markets and fixed‑income products, including bond issuance and debt financing transactions.
• Strong financial and credit analysis capabilities.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Comfortable working with Bloomberg and other capital markets databases.
• Good grasp of macroeconomic and market drivers affecting emerging‑market debt.
