Dental Nurse – Outpatient Care

About the role

Outpatient Dental Nursing at Jumeirah Clinic involves delivering professional nursing services in an outpatient setting, supporting dentists during clinical procedures, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of dental chairs, rooms and equipment and sterilize all instruments in line with infection‑control protocols.
• Assist dentists during procedures, handling instruments, positioning patients and protecting soft tissues.
• Take dental radiographs, collect and file patient records, and provide oral health education as prescribed.
• Provide basic life support and respond to medical emergencies.
• Apply for medical insurance approvals and communicate status to patients and team.
• Restock, receive and account for dental supplies, ensuring accurate inventory.

Required profile

• UAE Medical Health Authority (DHA) nursing licence.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Minimum two years experience in a hospital or similar setting.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for digital documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
