Department Subject Matter Expert – Emiratisation

About the role

As a Department Subject Matter Expert – Emiratisation, you will guide shift operations, ensuring safety, efficiency and consistent service delivery across dnata’s ground handling and travel services. You will act as a trusted advisor, resolving operational challenges and supporting staff to meet regulatory and procedural standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and balance observation schedules for the department.
• Deliver safety briefings and intervene when risks are identified.
• Coach staff on safety behaviours, acting as a role model.
• Provide technical assistance to ensure work complies with procedures.
• Escalate behavioural and procedural matters to the Service Delivery Manager.
• Lead during disruptions, crisis management and fallback operations.
• Address and resolve operational issues on shift.
• Identify non‑conformances, implement corrective actions and ensure compliance with regulations and SLAs.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of safety, quality and operational policies.
• Ability to coach and influence staff behaviour.
• Experience handling crisis situations and operational disruptions.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
