About the role

GEMS Education is seeking a Deputy Head of Primary to join its Metropole Al‑Waha campus in Dubai starting August 2026. The role supports the school leader in delivering a sustainable, inclusive learning environment and drives academic excellence across the primary phase.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Primary in leading and nurturing the school community in line with the school vision.
• Support performance management and professional development of teaching staff.
• Contribute to the implementation of eco‑friendly initiatives and sustainability programmes.
• Oversee curriculum delivery and ensure compliance with British Schools Overseas accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Minimum five years (60 months) of leadership experience in primary education.
• Proven ability to manage performance and foster collaborative teams.
• Commitment to sustainability and inclusive education.
