Design Technology Teacher (Start Jan 2027)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a Design Technology Teacher to join its growing network of schools at the start of Term 2 in January 2027. The role involves delivering high‑quality, inclusive lessons that inspire curiosity, creativity and critical thinking in students across a diverse, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver Design Technology lessons that meet curriculum outcomes and cater to the full ability range.
• Organise classroom resources, create engaging displays and manage hybrid, distance‑learning and face‑to‑face sessions.
• Implement effective behaviour management, uphold safeguarding policies and act as a positive role model.
• Support SEN, EAL and gifted‑and‑talented students through differentiated instruction.
• Reflect on teaching practice, monitor student progress and adjust planning to improve outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years experience teaching in an international school setting.
• Experience working with students for whom English is not the first language.
• Professional, approachable demeanor with strong interpersonal skills for communicating with parents and stakeholders.
