Director, Global Security & Asset Protection (GSAP)

About the role

The Director of Global Security and Asset Protection (GSAP) is responsible for safeguarding The Coca-Cola Company against high‑risk threats that could impact operations, consumer trust, or shareholder confidence. Based in Dubai, the role demands strategic leadership, rapid incident response, and extensive travel across high‑risk regions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic security advice and guidance across the global business, including business continuity, crisis management, criminal investigations, executive protection, workplace safety, insider threat and promotional integrity.
• Develop, implement and oversee complex security programs for major events and high‑risk operations in the Middle East, Africa, India and other emerging markets.
• Lead rapid response to security incidents such as extortion, kidnapping, terrorism, cyber threats or workplace violence, coordinating with law‑enforcement and intelligence agencies.
• Conduct liaison with domestic and foreign government officials, embassies and private security firms to secure assistance and intelligence.
• Assess asset‑protection needs through data collection, interviews and financial investigations, and deliver tactical response plans.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in global security, risk management or asset protection, preferably in high‑risk regions (Middle East, Africa, India, Southwest Asia).
• Proven ability to travel up to 80 % of the time and deploy rapidly to hostile environments.
• Eligibility to reside and work in the UAE and to obtain necessary visas and clearances.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to influence senior stakeholders and coordinate multinational teams.
