Director of Asset Management – Residential & Commercial

About the role

The Director of Asset Management will own the residential and commercial asset‑class strategy, driving net operating income, occupancy, and sustainable returns. Reporting to the Chief Portfolio Management Officer, the role combines strategic planning, leasing optimisation, and value‑creation initiatives across a diverse portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the asset‑management strategy and business plan for the assigned residential/commercial portfolio.
• Lead leasing, pricing, and tenant‑mix decisions to maximise rental growth and income quality.
• Identify and implement asset‑enhancement and repositioning projects, building investment cases and tracking returns.
• Oversee property and facility management, ensuring financial, operational and service KPIs are met.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, M&A, development, and external partners such as leasing agents and government entities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in real‑estate asset management, preferably across residential and commercial assets.
• Strong understanding of portfolio performance metrics, leasing dynamics and value‑creation levers.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage external operators and partners.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a data‑driven approach to decision‑making.
