Director of Sales – Hotel (Sharjah)

About the role

We are looking for a Director of Sales to lead voco Sharjah’s commercial strategy and consistently exceed room‑night sales targets. You will shape the hotel’s market presence, drive revenue across all streams, and champion a high‑performance sales culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Sales & Marketing team to develop and execute commercial strategies that maximise revenue, market share and profitability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts, travel partners, government entities and event planners.
• Drive business across rooms, meetings & events, food & beverage and other hotel outlets.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management, Operations and other departments to optimise commercial performance.
• Oversee marketing strategy, digital presence, brand positioning and promotional campaigns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• 5‑7 years of progressive sales and marketing experience in the hospitality industry, including leadership in a similar role.
• Proven track record of developing commercial strategies that drive revenue growth and market share.
• Strong understanding of hotel sales, marketing, revenue management and distribution channels.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
