About the role
Our client, a regional organisation integrating sustainability and ESG principles into its business strategy, is seeking a Director of Sustainability & ESG to lead its efforts in Dubai. The role will shape ESG strategy, ensure compliance with stakeholder expectations, and align sustainability initiatives with overall business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the organisation’s sustainability and ESG strategy.
- Oversee ESG reporting, policy creation, and implementation of initiatives.
- Align sustainability goals with business objectives across operations, procurement and finance.
- Collaborate with operations, procurement and finance teams to embed ESG considerations.
- Engage with regulators, investors and external stakeholders to communicate ESG performance.
Required profile
- Proven senior‑level experience in sustainability or ESG leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of ESG frameworks and reporting standards.
- Demonstrated experience working in the UAE or regional markets.
- Ability to think strategically and manage stakeholder engagement.
