DP Business Management Teacher (Starting Aug 2026)

About the role

GEMS World Academy Dubai is seeking a dedicated DP Business Management teacher to join its Business department from August 2026. The successful candidate will deliver the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in Business Management to a culturally diverse, non‑selective student body.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging DP Business Management lessons in line with the IB framework.
• Utilise data‑driven approaches to monitor and improve student outcomes.
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
• Provide personalised academic and pastoral support to students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to uphold the IB Learner Profile and school ethos.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Education or a degree plus a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, PGDE or equivalent) in Business.
• Minimum three years of secondary Business teaching experience; IB experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of the IB DP framework and its Approaches to Teaching.
• Commitment to the IB philosophy, Learner Profile values and to working in a diverse community.
• Continuous desire to improve practice and deliver outstanding learning experiences.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the IB Diploma Programme Business Management curriculum.
