Drilling Specialist – Coiled Tubing

About the role

The Specialist, Drilling (Coiled Tubing) will lead and manage lump‑sum turnkey campaigns for unconventional drilling and testing activities, including UBD, MLT and multi‑stage fracturing, within ADNOC’s Biogenic Shallow Gas project. The role ensures cost control, rig scheduling and alignment with field development plans.

Key responsibilities

• Set and manage the scope of work for lump‑sum turnkey campaigns and oversee unconventional drilling activities.
• Report and update drilling and well‑operations activities to ensure conformity with project plans.
• Lead integrated project management teams of service companies to execute Biogenic Gas wells.
• Endorse and approve drilling programs, well plans and associated AFE documents.
• Define full field development and exploration requirements in collaboration with petroleum, reservoir and petrophysics engineers.
• Advise the Exploration Function on drilling planning, well prognosis and technical requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in drilling/workover engineering and operations, preferably with UAE OPCOs.
• Experience both on offshore rigs and in office environments.
• Proven track record leading drilling teams and managing business planning for wells.
• Professional user of drilling software; Landmark package preferred.
