Economics Teacher (GCSE/A-Level) – August Start

About the role

GEMS Wellington Academy, Al Khail is seeking an outstanding Economics Teacher to join the school from August 2026. The role involves delivering high‑quality Economics lessons to students preparing for GCSE and A‑Level examinations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Economics lessons for KS3, KS4 and KS5 (GCSE and A‑Level) following the British curriculum.
• Provide outstanding teaching and learning experiences that drive exceptional student outcomes.
• Collaborate with a high‑performing teaching team and contribute to the school’s evidence‑informed practice.

Required profile

• Hold a B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent qualification in secondary teaching.
• Minimum two years of experience teaching the National Curriculum of England.
• Proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
• Experience teaching the British curriculum to GCSE and A‑Level students.
• Exceptional subject knowledge in Economics.
