Editorial Director – AI‑Generated Content Specialist

About the role

We are partnering with a leading foundational AI lab to hire an Editorial Director who will shape the quality of AI‑generated business documents. The role is fully remote and focuses on training language models to produce professional press releases, briefing memos, slide decks and spreadsheets.

Key responsibilities

• Design, evaluate and refine AI‑generated press releases, media statements and executive talking points.
• Develop crisis‑communication response plans, editorial style guides and content calendars.
• Create and maintain media‑coverage tracking spreadsheets and internal/external newsletter drafts.
• Oversee the production of slide decks and other presentation materials to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to embed editorial standards into model outputs.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in journalism, corporate communications or public relations.
• Proven ability to craft messaging for executives or media outlets under tight deadlines.
• Strong news judgment and command of AP style or equivalent editorial standards.
• Expert‑level proficiency in document, spreadsheet and slide‑deck craftsmanship.
• Excellent written communication and meticulous attention to detail.
