EHS Officer – Abu Dhabi (UAE Nationals Only)

About the role

The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Officer will join Johnson Controls' project execution team in Abu Dhabi, reporting to the Sr. EHS Manager MEA. This role is dedicated to safeguarding employees, the environment, and assets by ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards across the UAE region.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits at JCI facilities and work sites.
• Identify hazards, perform risk assessments, and develop/implement safety protocols.
• Investigate incidents, recommend corrective actions, and maintain EHS records.
• Support installation and maintenance teams to ensure safe execution of projects.
• Promote the JCI Zero Harm Vision and Life Saving Rules among all staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Fluent in Arabic and English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
