Engineer - Civil إماراتيين (خلاصة القيد)

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineer with strong knowledge of Dubai, Abu Dhabi and KSA authority guidelines. The role covers the full lifecycle of dry utilities and infrastructure projects from concept master‑plan through to IFC stage.

Key responsibilities

• Design and detail dry utilities, primary substations, EHV/HV/LV corridors and distribution networks up to 33 kV.
• Develop telecom infrastructure layouts, including ducts, manholes and GSM tower coverage requirements.
• Produce street‑lighting designs, lighting calculations, single‑line diagrams and load schedules for all road types.
• Coordinate with wet‑works, roads, transportation, landscape and building disciplines.
• Prepare technical calculations, reports and documentation for client review.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience on large‑scale infrastructure projects in the UAE or KSA.
• In‑depth understanding of local authority standards and regulations.

Required skills

• Design of primary substations, pocket substations, feeder pillars and service turrets.
• HV/LV network design and calculations up to 33 kV.
• Telecommunication network design (ducts, manholes, GSM coverage).
• Street‑lighting design, lighting calculations, SLDs and load schedules.
• Report writing and technical documentation.
• Multi‑disciplinary coordination (wet, roads, transport, landscape, building).
