English Teacher – Al Ghad Charter School (2026‑2027)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding English Teacher for Al Ghad Charter School in Abu Dhabi for the 2026/2027 academic year. The school follows an American curriculum and aims to inspire, challenge and empower Emirati students to thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the American curriculum and inspire students to achieve their best.
• Plan, prepare and present sessions that cater for the whole ability range, using resources and classroom displays to create a positive learning environment.
• Assess and record student progress using Target Tracker, provide feedback to parents and adjust planning based on data.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, curriculum support staff and specialists such as speech‑language therapists to support student development.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policy, acting as a positive role model and promoting self‑control and independence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with learners for whom English is not a first language.
• Passion for teaching the whole child and involvement in extra‑curricular activities.
• Professionalism, respect for diversity and a clean enhanced DBS/police check.
