About the role

We are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join the English and Literature department at International Community School – Al Manhal Campus. The role involves teaching high/secondary school students using the UK curriculum and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

Deliver engaging English lessons that develop reading, writing, speaking and literary analysis skills.
Create dynamic, differentiated lesson plans aligned with the British curriculum.
Maintain a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and academic excellence.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership to support student development.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in an English language setting.
Strong knowledge of the UK secondary curriculum.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Effective classroom management skills.
