English Teacher – Full Time

About the role

The Grammar School Dubai seeks a dedicated English Teacher to deliver high‑quality instruction and support student progress across all ability levels.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons for designated age and ability groups.
• Prepare teaching materials, programs, and pastoral arrangements as needed.
• Monitor and assess student progress, using data to set targets and inform instruction.
• Provide regular, constructive feedback and mark assignments accurately.
• Set homework and design out‑of‑class activities to reinforce learning.
• Participate in examinations and assessment arrangements.
• Maintain accurate records for DSIB inspections and reporting to the Board of Governors.

Required profile

• Understanding of diverse learner needs, including SEN, gifted, EAL, and disabilities.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and employ varied teaching approaches.
• Commitment to high standards of literacy and correct spoken English.
• Strong classroom management skills and a positive role‑model attitude.
