ESB Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced ESB Developer to join our Abu Dhabi team at Synechron. The role focuses on designing and implementing enterprise service bus services that expose CASA variable outputs via secure SOAP APIs, supporting our financial services clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop ESB services exposing data from RDBMS through secure SOAP APIs.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms including OAuth2, JWT token validation, and mTLS mutual authentication.
• Apply request validation, throttling, quota enforcement, caching, and standardized error handling.
• Define and enforce an API versioning strategy using semantic versioning, ensuring backward compatibility and managing deprecation.
• Create non‑production sandboxes and developer portal artifacts such as API specifications, usage examples, Postman collections, and client stub code for FinnOne LOS integration.
• Collaborate with the FinnOne LOS team and vendor to configure and optimize integration components.

Required profile

• 7–14 years of relevant experience in ESB and API development.
• Immediate availability or notice period up to 30 days.
• Strong understanding of financial services integration requirements.
