European Teacher – Part‑time Early Childhood

About the role

Jebel Ali Village Early Childhood Centre (JAVECC) is looking for a qualified European teacher to join its part‑time team. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality early years education within the EYFS framework for young children in a vibrant, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate lessons that align with the EYFS curriculum.
• Create activities that support physical, social, emotional and cognitive development.
• Maintain accurate records of each child’s progress and milestones.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive classroom environment.

Required profile

• European national.
• Relevant degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years experience in early childhood education.
• Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Caring and professional attitude toward children and staff.
