Events Procurement Officer

About the role

The Events Procurement Officer will manage all purchasing activities related to the Foundation’s events, workshops, festivals and student engagement programmes. The role ensures transparent, cost‑effective sourcing while maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify qualified vendors and maintain an approved vendor database.
• Source and evaluate suppliers for event‑related goods and services, ensuring competitiveness and continuity of supply.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and service conditions to achieve value for money.
• Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in line with approval workflows.
• Coordinate delivery schedules, confirm specifications and resolve any issues between internal teams and vendors.
• Monitor vendor performance during execution to guarantee smooth event operations.
• Compile evaluation summaries and recommendations for management approval.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and vendor selection.
• Experience in cost evaluation, contract coordination and event‑related purchasing.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage multiple requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external service providers.
