Experienced QA/QC Engineer – 14+ Years – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned QA/QC Engineer with over 14 years of UAE site supervision experience to lead quality initiatives on a major supervision project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring that all construction activities meet contract specifications, local authority requirements, and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor project works for compliance with contract documents, approved drawings, and specifications.
• Implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) in line with company and project requirements.
• Review, approve, and process QA/QC submittals such as Method Statements, ITPs, and checklists.
• Respond to RFIs related to quality and compliance issues.
• Coordinate QA/QC activities across civil, architectural, and MEP disciplines.
• Review contractor NCRs, corrective actions, and verify effective close‑out.
• Assess change order proposals and claims from a quality perspective.
• Supervise QA/QC inspectors and ensure proper documentation of inspections.
• Assist with snagging, de‑snagging, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Sign off completed works once compliance and documentation are verified.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 14 years of QA/QC site supervision experience within an engineering consultancy in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC systems, construction materials, and inspection procedures.
• Familiarity with local authority requirements and standards such as ADM and Estidama.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• ISO 9001 certification or Internal Auditor certification is an advantage.
