External Audit Senior Associate – Non Financial Services (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

PWC Middle East is seeking a Senior Associate to join its External Audit team in Abu Dhabi. You will work on non‑financial services engagements, applying both technical expertise and digital tools to deliver high‑quality assurance services.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client financial statements to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Examine accounting records, inventory, plant and equipment, and other supporting documentation.
• Conduct inquiries – both written and oral – with client personnel to gather evidence.
• Test internal controls and business processes for effectiveness and reliability.
• Build trust with clients by understanding expectations and delivering consistent, high‑quality audit services.
• Take accountability for research and documentation of audit findings.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant audit experience (approximately 36 months).
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA or CA are preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team of problem‑solvers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with audit technologies and data‑analytics tools.
• Solid grounding in accounting and finance principles.
