EYFS Teacher – Early Years Foundation Stage

About the role

The EYFS Teacher will join Reach British School Abu Dhabi to deliver high‑quality early years education. You will share responsibility for planning, teaching and assessing the EYFS curriculum, fostering literacy, articulacy and a love of learning in young children.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging lessons that challenge pupils and maintain high interest.
• Set clear learning targets, build on prior progress and monitor attainment.
• Identify and support SEN/EAL learners.
• Maintain structured, paced lessons with effective questioning and feedback.
• Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources, including ICT and library materials.
• Mark, display and present student work to high standards.
• Uphold school policies, discipline, dress code and cultural sensitivities.
• Contribute to the School Improvement Plan and curriculum development.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with experience in early years or EYFS settings.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, assess and differentiate instruction.
• Strong understanding of SEN and EAL support strategies.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of behaviour and academic achievement.
