Female Consultant Gastroenterologist – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified Female Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Dubai. The successful candidate will diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic and digestive disorders while delivering patient‑centred care in line with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas and gallbladder.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, dietitians and internal medicine specialists.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with DHA regulations and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, preventive care and lifestyle modifications.
• Participate in departmental meetings, quality‑improvement initiatives and continuing medical education programs.
• Supervise junior medical staff when required.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by the DHA.
• Board certification or fellowship in Gastroenterology.
• DHA licence or eligibility letter for Consultant Gastroenterologist.
• Minimum 5–7 years of post‑specialisation experience in a reputable hospital.
• Expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic or Hindi is an advantage.
