About the role
The Finance Manager will lead the company’s financial operations in Sharjah, ensuring accurate reporting, robust cash‑flow control, regulatory compliance, and strong internal controls. Arabic speaking is required to support regional interactions.
Key responsibilities
- Manage monthly and annual financial closing, prepare financial statements and management reports, and review accounting entries in line with IFRS.
- Prepare the annual budget and forecasts, monitor actual performance against budget, and analyse variances.
- Produce weekly and monthly cash‑flow forecasts, oversee bank balances, collections, payments and funding requirements.
- Monitor customer balances, credit limits and overdue invoices; coordinate with sales and collection teams.
- Review inventory valuation, landed cost and product costing; participate in stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax, prepare tax returns and coordinate external audits.
- Develop and maintain finance policies, internal controls and ERP access rights.
- Provide profitability, pricing and margin analysis to support management decisions.
- Lead, train and supervise the finance team, ensuring timely reporting and payments.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CMA, ACCA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of finance experience, including managerial responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, budgeting and financial reporting.
- Proven experience with ERP systems and inventory costing.
