Finance Officer

About the role

Hafeet Capital Limited, an ADGM‑regulated CAT 3A financial services firm, is seeking a Finance Officer to own and execute the entire finance function. This full‑time, on‑site position works closely with senior management, outsourced accounting and tax teams, auditors, banks and regulatory stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage day‑to‑day finance operations, including bookkeeping coordination with outsourced teams.
• Review and execute payments, invoices, reimbursements and ensure audit‑ready documentation.
• Monitor cash balances, bank accounts and client‑money flows; perform bank, vendor and internal reconciliations.
• Prepare, monitor and report on budgets, forecasts and cash‑flow projections; track actuals against approved budgets.
• Provide financial analysis to senior management, highlighting risks, cost overruns and process gaps.
• Handle all regulatory finance reporting, prudential submissions and capital‑adequacy requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors during annual and interim audits, maintaining audit‑ready records and responding to queries.

Required profile

• 5+ years of relevant finance experience, preferably within an ADGM‑regulated entity.
• Background in brokerage, asset management, fund management, investment or custody firms.
• Proven ability to run a finance function independently in a small‑company environment.
• Hands‑on experience with regulatory, prudential and management reporting.
• Professional communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as Odoo.
