Finance Officer (UAE National) – Immediate Start

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding Finance Officer (UAE National) for Bateen World Academy in Abu Dhabi, with an immediate start. The role supports the school’s financial operations, handling tuition fees, petty cash, budgeting and related administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to parents' finance and admissions inquiries and manage tuition fee collections, including late payments and returned cheques.
• Handle petty cash reconciliation, replenishment, and bank collection reporting.
• Coordinate trips, activities, stationery, textbook, library and reprographic orders, and liaise with HQ for payments and LPOs.
• Monitor department budgets, prepare monthly income and expenditure statements, and support HoDs and the principal.
• Manage examination fee collection, self‑fund budgets, transport invoices, and charitable contributions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, legislation and school policies, and undertake any reasonable duties related to the role.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum qualification).
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar finance role, preferably in the education sector.
• Customer service experience is required.

• Fluent English communication, written and oral.
• Strong interpersonal skills for a multicultural environment.
• Excellent office management abilities and computer literacy.
• Fluency in Arabic is preferable.
