Finance Reporting Manager

About the role

The Finance Reporting Manager will lead the preparation and delivery of all financial and regulatory reports for our Gulf operations (UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar). This senior position ensures compliance with IFRS, statutory requirements, and internal policies while driving high‑quality reporting and stakeholder confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual preparation of financial statements and regulatory returns, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Act as the primary liaison with external auditors and regulators, coordinating audit requests and addressing queries promptly.
• Serve as the IFRS 17 subject‑matter expert, integrating the standard into reporting processes and maintaining related documentation.
• Develop and refine IFRS 17 reconciliation processes, reporting templates, and workflows.
• Manage and develop the financial reporting team, providing direction, performance management and professional growth.
• Collaborate with Actuarial, IT, Operations and regional finance teams to gather data and resolve reporting issues.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls and governance over financial reporting and closing activities.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proven experience handling multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Deep technical expertise in accounting and financial reporting, particularly IFRS 17.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
