About the role
The Finance Specialist – Front Office will support the country finance director in managing local fiduciary duties and statutory reporting. Based in Abu Dhabi, you will work within the Power Grids Business finance line, ensuring compliance with local GAAP and legal requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain an up‑to‑date register of local finance fiduciary duties and map them to functional delivery responsibilities.
- Collaborate with the GBS Finance Front Office manager and General Accounting manager to define and deliver fiduciary duties.
- Prepare local GAAP reports and finance information for board and governing body meetings.
- Ensure timely statutory filings and compliance with local laws.
- Act as the primary local contact for external auditors.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 3–5 years of experience in local statutory bookkeeping and reporting.
- Understanding of internal controls, auditing, and accounting standards.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
