Financial Crime Investigator – AML/CTF Specialist

About the role

The Financial Crime Investigator will join the Insurance Division’s Compliance team in Dubai. You will help design, implement and monitor AML, CTF and CPF controls to ensure the business meets all regulatory obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and rolling out AML/CTF/CPF policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with internal departments to collect due‑diligence documentation and complete client risk assessments.
• Maintain record‑keeping in line with retention policies and meet reporting turnaround times.
• Screen transactions, review monitoring systems and identify red‑flags during KYC and onboarding.
• Investigate suspicious activities and prepare SAR/STR filings.
• Liaise with regulators and internal audit on compliance matters.
• Deliver AML/CTF/CPF training and develop related presentation material.
• Support compliance reviews, test work and remediation of control deficiencies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in AML, CTF or related financial crime compliance.
• Strong understanding of AML/CFT/CPF regulatory frameworks.
• Experience preparing Suspicious Activity Reports and interacting with regulators.
• Excellent communication skills across senior management and operational teams.
