Financial Crime Investigator I – Insurance Division

About the role

Al-Futtaim’s Insurance Division is seeking a Financial Crime Investigator I to support its Compliance Department. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining anti‑money laundering (AML), counter‑terrorist financing (CTF) and counter‑proliferation financing (CPF) frameworks in line with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of AML/CTF/CPF policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with internal departments to obtain due‑diligence documentation.
• Execute due‑diligence activities and complete client risk assessments.
• Maintain document tracking and retention in accordance with policy.
• Ensure timely reporting within agreed turnaround times.
• Review and support screening and transaction‑monitoring systems.
• Identify red flags and control issues related to KYC and client onboarding.
• Investigate and prepare Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs).
• Liaise with regulators and supervisors on AML program matters.
• Build partnerships with Internal Audit, Operations, Business Development and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Experience in AML, CTF or CPF compliance within the financial services or insurance sector.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk‑assessment processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple internal teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet strict reporting deadlines.
