French Teacher – International School (Dubai)

About the role

GEMS Founders School, Al Mizhar is seeking an enthusiastic French Teacher to join its vibrant community in August 2026. This position offers early‑career teachers valuable international exposure and experienced educators a chance to progress within a world‑leading education network.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging French lessons for GCSE and A‑Level students.
• Develop and adapt curriculum resources to meet BSO standards.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider school community to support student wellbeing.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events that promote French language and culture.

Required profile

• Hold a Bachelor of Education or a Bachelor’s degree with PGCE/PGDE (or equivalent French qualification).
• Proven experience teaching French to GCSE/A‑Level classes.
• Demonstrate the school’s core values of Grow, Flourish and Mindfulness.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Creative, enthusiastic and committed to continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in French language.
