Front-Line Endpoint Engineer

About the role

The Front-Line Endpoint Engineer will be the first point of contact for end‑user technical issues in a fast‑paced, security‑first trading environment. You will work hands‑on with laptops, mobile devices and peripherals, ensuring a reliable and secure workspace for global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for technical incidents, owning resolution or appropriate escalation.
• Support and maintain end‑user hardware, including laptops, iOS/Android devices and peripherals.
• Monitor systems, apply updates and perform routine hardware and software maintenance.
• Document issues and resolutions accurately in the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with internal IT and Systems Engineering teams to resolve complex problems and improve support processes.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation, providing after‑hours and weekend support as needed.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in technical support or endpoint engineering, preferably in financial services or trading.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across global, multicultural teams.
• Deep curiosity for technology and a proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stay organized under pressure.

Required skills

• Linux command‑line proficiency and system‑level troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of the FIX protocol and ability to interpret FIX logs.
• Experience supporting iOS and Android mobile devices.
• Hardware troubleshooting for laptops and peripherals.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems for incident management.
