Full‑Time Faculty – Business Management & Public Administration

About the role

The College of Business Administration at the American University in the Emirates seeks qualified Ph.D. holders for full‑time faculty positions at the Associate Professor or Full Professor level, teaching Business Management and Public Administration.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver research‑driven teaching in strategic management, business management, and public administration, using modern pedagogical techniques.
• Manage instructional processes, create a positive learning environment, and assess student performance with clear criteria.
• Contribute to curriculum development and regular review to ensure relevance and academic rigor.
• Maintain an active research agenda, publish in peer‑reviewed journals, and collaborate with colleagues.
• Provide academic advising, participate in committees, and engage in professional and community service.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Management or a closely related field from an accredited university, completed by recruitment.
• Minimum of 18 graduate‑level credit hours in the relevant discipline.
• At least three recent articles in Scopus‑indexed journals (or five peer‑reviewed articles) within the past five years.
• Minimum two years of teaching or professional experience at an internationally accredited university.
• Excellent English communication skills; Arabic proficiency where applicable.
