Full‑time Faculty Position in Entrepreneurship

About the role

The School of Management at Canadian University Dubai is seeking a full‑time faculty member in Entrepreneurship to start in the Spring Semester 2026‑2027. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, supervise student research, and contribute to the university’s research agenda and academic leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Teach 12 credit hours per semester across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in entrepreneurship and related subjects.
• Supervise student projects, independent studies and research, providing academic mentoring.
• Conduct high‑quality research, aiming for at least two peer‑reviewed publications per year in Scopus‑indexed journals.
• Participate in curriculum review, programme development and enhancement of entrepreneurship courses.
• Support departmental and school initiatives such as accreditation, quality assurance and strategic projects.
• Seek externally funded research, industry collaborations and community‑based entrepreneurship initiatives.
• Engage in university service through committees, student activities and community outreach.
• Represent the School and University at professional, academic and industry forums.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship or a closely related discipline from a QS Top‑500, internationally accredited institution.
• Strong teaching record at undergraduate level and, ideally, postgraduate level.
• Evidence of research activity with publications in reputable, peer‑reviewed Scopus‑indexed journals.
• Experience in academic administration, programme development or similar leadership roles.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate entrepreneurship practice, innovation methods and applied learning into teaching.
• Fluency in English.
• Professional or consultancy experience in entrepreneurship, venture development or innovation ecosystems (preferred).
• Familiarity with Canadian higher‑education standards and prior teaching experience in the Middle East (advantageous).
