Gastroenterology Consultant – UAE – Advanced Endoscopy

About the role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its gastroenterology and digestive health services. The organization seeks a highly skilled Gastroenterology Consultant to join a modern, quality‑driven clinical team serving a diverse, international patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage a broad range of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including endoscopy and colonoscopy, within granted privileges.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and ensure comprehensive follow‑up care.
• Manage acute gastrointestinal presentations and coordinate inpatient care when required.
• Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, nutritionists and other specialists for multidisciplinary patient management.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with patient safety, infection‑control and clinical‑governance standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, quality‑improvement initiatives and service‑development activities.

Required profile

• Internationally trained Gastroenterology Consultant with recognized qualification (e.g., American Board of Internal Medicine gastroenterology fellowship, UK CCT/MRCP, European Board, Royal College certification).
• Demonstrated ability to deliver patient‑centred care in a multicultural environment.
• Commitment to international healthcare standards and continuous professional development.
