General Accountant – Real Estate (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Accountant to join our real‑estate team in Dubai. The role involves managing the full accounting function, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and supporting the company’s financial health.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and present financial reports and management statements.
• Process payroll, salary‑related transactions and agent commission payouts.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor and client invoicing.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare VAT returns and corporate tax filings in line with UAE requirements.
• Support internal and external audits and produce management reporting.
• Monitor company expenses and ensure all financial transactions comply with local regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years of accounting experience within the UAE.
• Prior experience in real‑estate accounting is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices, VAT filing and corporate tax compliance.
• Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality and take full ownership of the accounting function.
• High attention to detail, integrity and professionalism.
