Geopolitics Manager – Government Advisory (UAE)

About the role

The Tony Blair Institute’s Geopolitics practice is seeking a Manager to support a high‑impact government advisory engagement in the United Arab Emirates. Over an expected two‑year period, you will work closely with senior executive‑level officials, providing rigorous, research‑driven insights that shape strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead analytical and research workstreams, ensuring evidence‑based, methodologically sound outputs.
• Produce a variety of deliverables, including strategic briefs, deep‑dive research notes, macro‑economic and geopolitical assessments, and rapid‑response analyses for senior decision‑makers.
• Translate complex macro‑economic, technological (including AI) and geopolitical analysis into clear, decision‑ready recommendations.
• Collaborate with a small, high‑performing team to deliver both high‑level strategic advice and detailed analytical work.

Required profile

• Highly analytical and detail‑oriented professional with strong research discipline.
• Experience analysing macro‑economic, technological and geopolitical trends.
• Proven ability to produce rigorous, structured research for senior government audiences.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment and delivering high‑quality outputs under tight timelines.
