Global Inventory Manager

About the role

EnerMech is seeking a Global Inventory Manager to lead the effectiveness of inventory management across all locations and business lines. The role is responsible for developing and executing a worldwide inventory strategy that aligns with project demands, financial objectives and operational priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a global inventory management strategy, including stocking policies and replenishment models.
• Maintain accurate, real‑time inventory data across all systems, warehouses and operational sites.
• Optimize inventory levels to balance service levels, working capital and risk, while minimizing obsolete and excess stock.
• Establish and enforce inventory governance, policies and standards across regions.
• Monitor key inventory KPIs such as stock accuracy, availability, turnover and aging.
• Conduct regular cycle counts, physical audits and inventory reviews to ensure data integrity.
• Analyse demand patterns and collaborate with Procurement, Operations and Projects to improve forecasting.
• Work with Logistics and Finance to align purchasing, distribution activities and ensure accurate valuation.
• Coach and mentor procurement team members and high‑potential talent.

Required profile

• 10‑15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, with a strong focus on inventory management, planning and logistics.
• Proven ability to develop and execute global inventory strategies and policies.
• Experience managing inventory risks such as stockouts, overstocking and supply‑chain disruptions.
• Strong analytical skills and experience driving continuous improvement of inventory processes.
